How does my team's charity get money?
When your team pays the entrance fee, that fee is collected with the fee from others in a central pot. When your team begins winning games, those centralized fees will then be redistributed to those winning causes.
Is champions for charity a tax-exempt organization?
Yes, Champions for Charity is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Please contact us for proof of tax-exempt status.
Do you get paid?
Champions for Charity is completely student-run, and all of our students work to gain experience and make a difference, not to make money.
How can I get involved?
Champions for Charity has many opportunities for students, parents, and volunteers to get involved.
For students, we encourage you play in our tournaments, volunteer at our events, or apply to work with us!
For parents, you can donate, volunteer, and help spread the word!
